Dr. McMillan has been practicing physical therapy for over four years and received his B.S. in Biology from Valdosta State University, graduating Cum Laude, in 2012 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Augusta University (formerly the Medical College of Georgia) in 2016.
The focus of his medical care practice is in geriatrics and occupational health with evaluation and management of acute/chronic orthopedic injuries and disease processes, neuromuscular disease management, and wellness program development.
Dr. McMillan is a member of the APTA and PTAG and has published research regarding balance in adults and its effects on clinical outcomes. He also has certification in Mckenzie Mechanical Diagnosis Technique for the lower back.
Dr. McMillan is committed to partnering with each of his patients to establish the best care plan possible to assist them with achieving all of their goals regarding their functional mobility. When not practicing physical therapy, Dr. McMillan enjoys spending time with his wife and family, traveling, cooking, working out, and listening to music
